PASSIVE VENTILATION

Ridge vents

    • Less pathogen infiltration, less disease, less crop damage = more profit
    • Heat and moisture rise while cool falls onto the crop

Gutter Vents

    • Larger ridge vent that opens from the gutter of a Cascade GC.
    • Maximum air flow
    • Same benefits of ridge vents, but larger, more effective, and easier to install
    • Reduces clutter, thus greatly improving light transmission
    • One piece of poly covers whole roof, and can be installed from gutter – faster installation time
    • Ridder Rack and Pinion and Ridder gearbox motor
    • Rubber gasket seal all around vent
    • Closes in high wind and rain when connected to environmental control

Open roof series 

        • Only available on Open Roof Series GH
        • Same benefits of ridge vents, but exposes crop to direct sunlight during open hours
        • Good for low-light conditions
        • Ridder Rack and Pinion and Ridder gearbox motor
        • Rubber gasket seal all around vent
        • Closes in high wind and rain when connected to environmental control

Roll up wall vents

    • Most cost-effective wall vent
    • Poly film rolls up to create a passive vent opening
    • Allows for maximum air exchange when used in tandem with roof vents
    • Can be used for side wall or end wall
    • Tubular motor or Ridder Gearbox motors for larger applications
    • Aluminum roll bar extrusion with built in U-Channel
    • 12mil SolarWoven Ultra or Inflated double-layer poly for better R-Value
    • Can also be equipped with manual hand crank

Drop Vents

    • Solid metal vent that descends to open
    • Side walls or end walls
    • Some jurisdictions require hard cladding (not film) on cannabis greenhouses, and this would allow for passive ventilation in a rigid greenhouse.
    • Lifetime of performance and reliability
    • More durable than hinge vents
    • Allows for maximum air exchange when used in tandem with roof vents or mechanical exhaust
    • Best potential R-Value of any vent
    • Creates a 100% sealed wall
    • Welded steel or aluminum frame (material depends on overall size)
    • Covered in Steel with foam insulation, or 8mm twin wall polycarbonate sheeting

Hinge Vents

    • Solid metal vent that hinges from the top to open
